The Dunn Group began in 1976 as a municipal
infrastructure company, providing road, sewer
and watermain servicing in southwestern Ontario.
In 1986, owner and president Michael Dunn
entered into the Hot Mix Asphalt production
and paving business and began to focus on
large public sector projects as well as municipal
and commercial paving.
Dunn Paving Limited grew again in the 1990’s
with the expansion into cold planning (milling)
of asphalt surfaces and by entering into
the aggregate sales and hauling arenas,
securing a dock facility in Windsor, Ontario.
After two decades experience with hot mix
asphalt and asphalt milling, Dunn Paving
Limited entered into the Cold In-Place Recycling
business, leveraging its knowledge of quality
paving techniques and its understanding
of the industry pressure to provide cost-effective,
environmentally friendly ways of renewing
Ontario’s Roads.
In addition to these business sectors,
the Dunn Group is heavily involved in development
through raw land acquisition and servicing
of residential subdivisions as well as commercial
and industrial projects. The Dunn Group
continues to look forward for new opportunities
in the heavy civil infrastructure, road
construction and development spaces to find
better ways to build and renew infrastructure
in Ontario.
